ganglia-monitor software package provides cluster monitoring toolkit - node daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ganglia-monitor
ganglia-monitor is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ganglia-monitor package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ganglia-monitor *
You will get with ganglia-monitor package name, version, architecture and description in a table
